This iconic and well used Park was carefully resdesigned to open the park to a broader range of users and make the trails sustainable. The Recreation Park trail now has high visitation numbers,  with car parking, shelters, and new toilet and trail gradients have been greatly reduced and water is carefully managed within a sensitive environment.
