The benefit of trees in our lives is immeasurable and the main guiding principle in the development of the design was to connect people to nature.

 

All existing trees in the reserve were retained and protected and the new skywalk now allows children to climb into the canopy of the grey box eucalypts, run between the elevated pods with birds perching nearby and return to the ground via a net or slide.

Extensive areas of open space allow for unprogrammed activities with custom elements providing interest for younger children and also forming pieces of art themselves. 

Overall, the park has been a huge success as it has turned the area into a visually appealing play space, combining sparks of art and creativity into the design and celebrating the importance that trees and natural environment have in our lives.
